Your initial appointment will consist of a thorough oral examination and a consultation to discuss your specific problems and concerns. Occasionally, your diagnosis and treatment options can be discussed at your initial appointment. However, depending on the complexity of your diagnosis and treatment, a second appointment is usually required in order to thoroughly explain your treatment options. This second appointment, if required, is done at no additional charge. Since a lot of information is provided at this second consultation appointment, it is recommended that you bring your significant other, if applicable.
The purpose of the first visit usually consists of getting to know you and your dental condition and recommendations regarding your treatment options. We will discuss the treatment options which are usually more than one and the risks and benefits of each. The time involved for each and the estimated fees.
